It is important to be forthcoming about my actual language ability. I could’ve used sophisticated language, I could’ve delved into complex topics. Unbeknownst to thee, I could have done it all. But I needn’t, no I mustn’t. As I find it rather boring, I must say, my kind sir. As her esteemed excellence, the wealdend of this writ, slew the grammar, as an arch nemesis of hers; thus from then on she must talketh with a rather a casual tongue. Proofreading, and proper speechcraft are rather pretentious for such a casual and foolish wordcraft, don’t you believe so?

okay, enough of that shit. that was as far as i could push it without dying of cringe. but seriously what is the POINT of proper grammar, and proper capitalization on other blogs? i am not reading some jackass-on-medium, i am reading your personal blog. maybe i am weird, but i even find basic grammar kinda too formal. lowercase, stream-of-consciousness, with limited grammar and edits is the way to go. i am not reading a book, i am reading your thoughts. i genuinely think writing properly strips away all the charm of personal spaces. i know, i know, we are all taught the proper language. but i don’t see the need for the proper language. this is a blog, and not a “100 advices for a perfect bookcraft” or whatever. grammar is here to be bent, not obeyed. as long as the message got across you do not need to write properly.

and i must say, this is no shade to anyone, as i do read quite a few fellow bloggers that write rather properly. you guys are cool, i just don’t understand why’d one bother treating a blog like an academic paper. but maybe, again it is just me. while i absolutely have no respect for the grammar itself, i sure should proofread more. i know for a fact that my stuff is typo-ridden...

i feel like there is this unwritten rule, expectation even, that dictates that a blog post is supposed to be perfectly formatted, proofread, with a good and optimized writing and grammar. and i simply cannot be bothered to do so. and like i said before, it kills the voice and the personality. one COULD write properly, use sophisticated language, and expression, but in that case something is truly lost. i am not writing hoping to attract millions, i am not writing hoping to earn tens of thousands, i simply want to yell into the void, and hope at least one person reads it. maybe that’s why i call my stuff a “diary”, not a blog.

i think authentic writing is better than perfect writing. And let’s be clear once again, I am perfectly capable of using the proper capitalization, and grammar. Simply, I just choose not to. Because, quite frankly why would I?
